Hugh McSwain MD is currently a third year student at Harvard Law School. He started working on MediBlock, a blockchain solution for medical provider licensing and credentialing, after undergoing a painful credentialing process that took over a year to complete. MediBlock began incubation at the Harvard Innovation Lab as part of the Venture Incubation Program. Hugh completed his medical training in the Navy and at the University of California, San Francisco. He practiced as a neuro interventional radiologist before going to law school to study health law and policy; he is still a licensed, practicing radiologist with experience spanning Department of Defense, Veterans Health Administration and civilian medical facilities. Hugh is passionate about using blockchain solutions to increase efficiencies in medicine while decreasing costs.
