As venture hacker and general counsel at AngelList, Erik Syvertsen is focused on legal affairs, securities law, fund products, syndicates, the international market, risk management, and assisting in structuring a range of investment products. AngelList is a platform for startups to raise money online, recruit employees, and apply for funding. Syvertsen is also legal counsel at leading New York law firm Olshan Frome Wolosky LLP, where he served as partner until joining AngelList, and where he launched and led the emerging-company practice for the firm. At Olshan, he represents early-stage technology and growth companies on capital raising and transactional matters.
